About Suzonne

Suzonne Evans Underwood and her husband, Bobby, reside in Monroe, Louisiana, with their two daughters, Whitney and Madi Jo.  Becoming increasingly aware of risky behaviors by teens across the country and the heartbreaking tragedies which resulted from them, Suzonne wrote Growing With Grace, a mother-to-daughter talk, to prevent them from making the same mistakes. It is her hope that this book will provide support and guidance to her daughters and teenagers everywhere.

From her own experience raising children, Suzonne Underwood has learned that raising a successful young adult is easier if you have a blueprint.  As a mother, Suzonne understands the issues teenagers face in today’s society.  Her genuine, heartfelt concerns reflect on the tragic results of risky behavior and lovingly persuades teenagers to consider safer alternatives. As a Christian, she encourages using faith as a guide throughout life in the hopes that teens everywhere will grow with grace and dignity.

Suzonne has an accounting degree from the Louisiana Business College, attended Northeast Louisiana University, and is currently studying interior design with the New York Design Institute.  She has a love for reading, writing, decorating, and antiques.  She enjoys cooking and entertaining, fundraising, Bible study and spending time with family and friends. Actively involved in her children’s schools, church, and community functions, Suzonne is already in the process of writing several other books as well.

Suzonne also encourages her readers to share their experiences and opinions in her blog. Visitors to her website should also check back frequently for articles, news, and updated information to assist them in making healthier and more creative choices.  As she reaches out and shares the beauty of life with her readers, Suzonne welcomes their feedback, suggestions and thoughts.  Please feel free to email Suzonne at suzonneunderwood@gmail.com, as well.
